With family roots in Newton County dating back more than a century, Ratherbie Apparel was started in June 2024 with one goal in mind. The hope is to combine a.) our affection of Covington's Downtown Square with b.) our genuine passion for creativity, design and self-expression with c.) our borderline obsession of The Vampire Diaries Universe and fandom.

Our Founder & Creative Director, Courtney, has 20+ years of professional experience in art direction and design (not to mention an epic hat collection). She currently resides in "Mystic Falls" with her husband and children. Although she didn't live in Covington at the time, she was lucky enough to see the occasional TVD episode filmed on location.

From design to execution, our entire creative process takes place right here in "Mystic Falls" (Covington, GA). Due to the nature of this new, small business – as we launch and continue to grow – our products will be made-to-order in small batches. Lead times may take a tad longer than usual.
